Days of our Delaney: Fourth of July Weekend!!

*Eric recently took over the blog to add some new songs, "Splish-Splash" (he gives her all her baths) and "Steal my Kisses" (because that's what we always have to do with our buggy!!) I also added "Twinkle-Twinkle" because she has a new talent...singing! She loves to say the part, "Up Above the World so High." Aunt Lori Beth is so proud. hehe :)
We started off the weekend with a trip to Pepper Place in Birmingham on Saturday. Delaney loved it! She wore her new pink and white squeaker shoes that Nannie bought her, and everyone commented on them. They sure do help us keep up with our little walker. :)

Before we left for the morning, she and Pop had their picture taken outside... (during one of their bird-watching, tree-hugging adventures)

When we came home that evening, Delaney had one of her weekly mirror sessions before bed. She loves looking at how beautiful she is. :)

On Sunday, we visited Eric's family at the Warrior River. We had a fun time seeing all the family, playing with dogs, and meeting new kids. She gets so excited to love on her Nana, Grandaddy, and Alec. :)

When we came home, she showed off her skills in the all-American sport of baseball... (such a daddy's girl) Too bad she frequently loses her ball under the t.v...
