Unexpected Adventures

This morning, we woke up and went to eat at our favorite breakfast spot, Bernetti's, in Moody. We love the consistently delicious food, sweet waitresses, and Elvis, or "Daddy", as Delaney calls the cut-out of him. :) After that, we traveled to Oak Mountain with Nannie and Pops to go to the Alabama State fair, which started at ten. When we pulled up, we found out it wasn't starting until twelve. Talk about bummed out! We decided to make the best of their mistake and go up the street to Oak Mountain State Park. All of us..Nana, Grandaddy, Nannie, Pops, (and of course Mommy and Daddy) had a nice afternoon enjoying Laneybug and the beautiful weather.

*I added "You are My Sunshine" to my playlist because I felt it was very appropriate for how we all felt today...

Anyone need a cute lifeguard?

This picture really shows how in love both of them are with each other... and maybe the slide, too. :) I take the pictures most of them time..
I wanted to jump out and take this picture with my beautiful daughter.

"Mom, this was sooo last year. Big girl slide only. Get me out!" Eric at the top of the slide for the twentieth or so time... Nana trying to keep up with Laneybug. Gotta love those grandparents... :)

Up and up AGAIN!

She doesn't eat fast food junk a lot, but I had to admit...
I was more excited than her about the old-school McDonald's boxes.
Note: They also have cute Madame Alexander dolls! Way to go, Mickey D.'s! Haha!

Just like Daddy...loves her hamburgers. :)
