Happy Half Birthday!

Eric and I took off work on Friday for a family day. First, we went to the doctor for Delaney's 6 month check-up. Dr. M. told us that she weighed 16lbs, and she was 27 inches long. She is in the 95th percentile for her height! After her visit and vaccinations, we took a day trip to the zoo. It was her six month birthday surprise. For our birthday, we received a year membership to the zoo from Eric's mom, along with some precious pics of our LaneyBug! :) We had so much fun watching the animals and enjoying the sights. Here are the pics...

Delaney recently received a super cute outfit for her 6 month birthday from her aunt Mary Beth. We went to the park and took some pics of her new look. :) I also had to dress her up for the Alabama game with her red polkadot outfit. I am also posting pics of her fun day with Oscar. They love each other so much!!

Delaney has two bottom teeth now! She loves showing them off by laughing out loud. I just took some cute pics of her in the new leggings she received from Eric's mom. They are soo precious! They will definitely be used during the holiday season, too. Love them! Everytime she wears her flower headband/hat out in public everyone comments. So I thought I'd post some pics of it, too. :)

Delaney has been so fun to play with over the last month! I wish she could stay 5 months old forever. She's now able to sit in her bumbo and look around at everyone. Her favorite toy is the red, talking Elmo. I think it's because her favorite color is red. Of course it would be...she's a big Alabama fan!! Saying "roll tide" might be her first words. :) Eric and I have made a weekend routine. We all wake up at around 7:00, talk and play, watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, while I feed her applesauce and rice cereal. Delaney also has her favorite meals. She loves sweet potatoes and carrots, but not a big fan of bananas. Although she hasn't mastered the spoon yet, she says "mmmm.." so I assume she likes it. :) This past weekend, I tried to get crafty and made her a "laneybug" outfit, bedazzled and all! I posted some pics of that. Halloween pics to come!!
