Delaney was so excited!
Today was Delaney's first day in her new room. She has the best daycare we could ask for, and we were excited to see her "promoted" to the two-year old room. She loves to dance, sing, and learn new things, so we know she will do great! We are such proud parents, and we learn something new about her everyday. :) At 16 months, she can now tell us parts of the body, dance and sing along to her favorite songs (twinkle-twinkle, pat-a-cake), and do the motions to itsy-bitsy spider. She also loves to find her baby and give it a "bottle", change the diaper, and hug on it. She still loves her books, and every time she sees a character that is asleep she lays her head on the book and says, "aww". When Eric gives her medicine, she claps everytime. She is working on learning colors and can point to blue and yellow. She imitates us and the things we do, so we get the biggest kick out of seeing what she picks up. (Luckily all good things :) ) She is talking more and more, and her favorite phrases and words are "outside", "what's this?", and "pees"(please). The only not-so-good thing about this is that she thinks everytime she says "please", she will get what she wants. :) Here are some pics of our spoiled, but cute-as-pie little girl...
