Fun Day Out

With all of the moving, moving, and moving, we were so excited to be able to get out and visit Thomas the Train.
At the beginning we were saying...
 We took pictures with him...
Stomped around on some of his friends...
 Took funny pictures with everyone...

 Worked out a little bit...
and then Daddy had to give us a ride...
 We played putt-putt...
Tried out the bouncy...(she was in this exact position for about 15 minutes before she'd stand up!!)
FINALLY, the lady in picture above helped us up the slide part where we were forced we made it down...

Doesn't she look like she loved this character from Thomas the Train?
 We also got tattoos...
 and showed them off...
 We loved the bubbles...
and putting on Momma's sunglasses during the train ride...What a diva. :)
But THIS was her favorite part. Jim Aycock is the BEST children's singer around Alabama. We had heard him perform before in Leeds, and we were so happy to get to listen to him again! :) She was in a trance. We can't find his cd online, but if anyone does, LET ME KNOW!  Love him!

After pulling her away from the music, Pop took her for a ride on the small train...
We were able to pet the animals...
Of course, this is what happened on the way home...:)
And in the end...

Dance, Dance, Dance!

Delaney accompanied her Nana to a wedding where she primped and primped to look her best, pigtails and all...:)
She had the BEST time and Nana said she danced the night away...
Doesn't she look like the best dance partner EVER??!
 Yes, yes she is...:)

St. Patrick's Day with the Penguins!

Nannie and I decided to take Delaney to the Georgia Aquarium for St. Patrick's Day. When we arrived, we were immediately greeted by a display of Nemo...
Then we found a whole bunch of fish...
We ran around like crazy wanting to look at all the other fish...
But our FAVORITE part of the day had to the be meeting this guy...
We love penguins!! And it didn't make it any better that we had already read a "hidden picture" book where we were always looking for Mr. Penguin.
When we left, we took a picture with our lovely mermaid friend. :)
Happy St. Patrick's Day.  The end.

Home, Sweet, Home

It has been a whirlwind of activity around our household the past two weeks. We have moved most of our things into storage, and Delaney has been crazy energetic with all the lack of toys to play with around here. You would think Spring Break would be a "break," but it's far from it. :) Although we have been super excited about moving, we still have many sweet memories of our "firsts" in this house.
We remember preparing Delaney's room for the first time we would bring home our little girl...

Taking our first nap together...
and by ourselves...
Giving Delaney her first bath...
And getting ready for our first big event, Delaney's Christening...
In this house, she learned how to crawl...
Then FINALLY to walk...
And although we have moments of really contemplating the reasons why we decided to move, we are extremely ready to make many more memories and "firsts" in our new home. We will find another mirror (preferably not on a closet door) to look in... Excuse the moving mess behind her.
and another window to look out in hopes of seeing Daddy arrive home (hopefully on a street that is "kid friendly")...
I will leave you with a sweet song sung by Miss "Dewaney Wose" (what she calls herself).
"Jesus Loves Me"
